I teach my "We Felt Joy" classes because there is such beauty in creation. Everything that we touch or make has a little whisper of our soul in them. It is so prevalent in art and teaching these classes has brought me so much joy to see your personalities shine in your pieces.

In my beginner-friendly classes, you will learn how to make things like pandas, blobfish, or baby chicks! This is a fantastic way to meet new people in the Boston area with the same interests as you. The beginner classes are two-and-a-half-hour long workshops where a needle felting kit including a hand-cut high-density foam pad, needles, leather finger protectors, and high-quality wool roving is provided for you, and the best part is that you get to keep it! We will be going through the basics of needle felting and it will be an intimate class with only twenty slots available so that everyone can get individualized attention. Classes will be held at the Pao Arts Center which Chinatown’s first arts and cultural center. This class has an age minimum of 14 years old and minors must be accompanied by a guardian.

Events
The Art of Joy is an 18+ concept that blossomed from the lack of community I'm feeling in my late 20s. It's an event based around making friends through the power of art!
I have found that it's hard to make friends as an adult and everything available is either extremely expensive with memberships that cost $200+ or heavily centered around alcohol. It's time to bring wholesome moments back! That's why I'm here to offer a refreshing alternative—a safe and welcoming space where you can forge genuine connections through the power of art.
