We felt joy!
I teach my "We Felt Joy" classes because there is such beauty in creation. Everything that we touch or make has a little whisper of our soul in it. It is so prevalent in art and teaching these classes has brought me so much joy to see your personalities shine in your pieces.
In my beginner-friendly classes, you will learn how to make things like bears, blobfish, or baby chicks! This is a fantastic way to meet new people in the Boston area with the same interests as you. The beginner classes are two-hour-long workshops where a needle felting kit, including a high-density foam pad, glass eyes, needles, leather finger protectors, and high-quality wool, is provided for you in a cute reusable little bag, and the best part is that you get to keep it! We will be going through the basics of needle felting, and it will be an intimate class with only fifteen slots or fewer available so that everyone can get individualized attention. Classes will be held at the Cambridge Community Television in Central Square, which nurtures a strong, equitable, and diverse community by providing tools and training to foster free speech, civic engagement, and creative expression. This class has an age minimum of 18 years old.
